Through groups, we learn to practice the way of Jesus together. Jesus’ earliest followers always “viewed apprenticeship to Jesus as a way of life, the combination of right belief and right living—or what we might call orthopraxy (Practicing the Way of Jesus, Mark Scandrette).” Through weekly rhythms of studying the scriptures, sharing life around the table and seeking justice in the city together we become apprentices to Jesus as we learn right belief and living.
Groups take place on several nights of the week in people’s homes throughout the city or at Kardia. This is a relaxed time and depending on the week you will find the group doing one of three rhythms: study, share or seek. All groups are open and you can join anytime during the year.
We have three Group opportunities this year and you can sign up for them on our Groups page. We are offering a mixed group in Green Lake, a College and Young Adults group in Queen Anne and a MOPS group, for mothers with children from 0-5. Groups are such a unique and special way to get involved in deeper community, meet new friends and dig deeper into our spiritual journeys. Sign up today!
